Exceptional emergency support and absolute peace of mind.

Earlier this year, our 84 year old mum became quite ill with a virus. Neither my brother nor I live close by so we were incredibly stressed when we realised we couldn’t travel to her quickly enough to help.

A former employee recommended Delcare to us, and we are so immensely grateful they did. Lynne, the owner, absolutely pulled out all the stops. Despite the short notice, she arranged emergency support for mum twice a day for a full week until she was back on her feet.

Mum can be quite a fussy person, but she genuinely liked all the carers who came to visit her, which speaks volumes about their warmth, patience, and professionalism. Being so far away, the app was an absolute lifeline for me. It was very easy to use and allowed me to read all the detailed notes the carers left after each visit, keeping us fully in the loop and reassured.

Although mum proudly refused further support once she was better, having Delcare step in provided massive peace of mind for my brother and I during a difficult time. Going forward, we hope that if and when the time comes that mum needs more regular support in her own home, the transition will be so much easier for her because she already knows and trusts the wonderful team at Delcare.

The team are helpful, understanding, friendly and very caring to my dad and also to me. They have a laugh with him and treat him with respect. We couldn't wish for better carers, they are like family.

I can't complain about the service my mother received from the staff of DelCare in the Community. The staff treat their clients as people, not a burden. DelCare has a good team of carers on its staff. This is a special message to the carers who looked after my mother through the last days of her life, all 93 years, all her carers and the manager. DelCare provided excellent care for 10 years for my mother.

Delcare have been looking after my mum for the past 8 months, and I honestly can’t praise them highly enough. They provided three daily care calls at home, supporting mum with personal care, meals, and medication. They have even collected medication from the pharmacy for her. Throughout this time, every single carer has shown exceptional kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine compassion. What really sets Delcare apart is the way they go above and beyond to ensure not just my mum’s care needs are met, but also her overall wellbeing. The team always took time to build a warm rapport with her, treating her with dignity and respect, and keeping me well-informed and reassured. They have the latest technology with a care app called Birdie where they document photos and notes for every care call, ensuring my mum's family is always kept up to date. It’s incredibly difficult to place your trust in others to care for a loved one, but with Delcare, I felt that Mum was in safe, capable, and truly caring hands.
